AC won't turn on
Check the remote batteries and the wall switch first.
Look at the electrical breaker — if it has tripped, reset once. If it trips again, stop and call a technician.
Verify the indoor unit power indicator. No light usually means power supply, PCB or fuse issue.
AC turns on but does not cool
Confirm the thermostat is on cool mode and set below room temperature.
Clean or replace the filter.
Check the outdoor unit is running and clear of debris.
Persistent weak cooling = low refrigerant, dirty coils or a compressor issue.
AC keeps tripping the breaker
Do not repeatedly reset the breaker — you risk further damage.
This is almost always a compressor, capacitor or wiring fault. Book service.
AC is leaking water
Turn the unit off. Place a towel or bucket under the leak.
The cause is usually a blocked drain line — a technician can clear it in one visit.
